Detailed Description

Large swells generated by a distant tropical system are expected to produce hazardous sea conditions around Grenada. Wave heights of 4–6 metres may impact the shoreline and offshore vessels during the next 12–24 hours.

Action:

  • Avoid all small craft operations; moor or bring vessels into safe harbour.
  • Stay away from beaches, rocks and piers during the swell period.
  • Secure coastal property and boats.
  • Listen to local radio (e.g., GIS Grenada) or official channels for updates and further instructions.
