The Meteorological Office has advised the National Disaster Management Agency (NaDMA) that a Tropical Wave is expected to pass through the Windward and Leeward islands during the night of Sunday, August 24th, 2025.

The wave is expected to bring occasional light to moderate showers and a medium chance of isolated thunderstorms on Sunday night, continuing into Monday morning.

The Meteorological Office has issued a warning for a LOW chance of Flash Flooding on Sunday night into Monday.

Residents should prepare for the potential of heavy showers and thunderstorms on Sunday night into Monday morning.

Residents who live in flood prone areas are asked to monitor the weather and pay attention to any advisories that may be issued during the period by the Meteorological Office and NaDMA.

The Meteorological Office and NaDMA will continue to monitor the weather and provide updates as necessary.
